School Secretary

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining staff attendance and payroll
  • Completing pupil accounting such as registration and updates
  • Ordering school supplies and issuing payments
  • Meet and greet parents and visitors
  • Answer phones
  • File school documents


  • Minimum of 2 years of college
  • 1+ years with proven secretarial experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills with word, excel, and ability to learn to use DOE systems,
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred

School Aide

Primary responsibilities include

  • Monitoring students during breakfast, lunch, and recess to ensure a safe and happy environment for all students
  • Answer phones
  • Make copies
  • Issue morning late passes
  • Maintain daily student attendance in DOE ATS system
  • Send home family letters relating to attendance


  • Organized and able  to work well with others
  • experience working with children
  • computer skills and ability to learn DOE ATS system
